BAZARUTO |
Bazaruto, the largest of Mozambique’s islands in the
Achipelargo, boast a kaleidoscope of beautiful fish,
coral reefs, with beaches and turquoise warm Indian
Ocean water. It is an angler’s paradise where a
variety of game fish such as the black marlin are
prized catches.
Take time out to view the endangered giant dugongs,
seasonal humpbacked whales, dolphins and different
species of turtles. Birdlife is abundant, at least
240 species which includes the beautiful flamingo’s
in the savanna grasslands.
The island has a history for its beautiful pearls
which might be found in the oyster beds amongst the
impressive beauty of the coral reefs. |

PESTANA BAZARUTO LODGE |
Pestana Bazaruto Lodge is situated in the
largest Island of the Bazaruto Archipelago
north of Maputo (the capital of Mozambique).
The Lodge offers a unique combination of
beauty, security and relaxation that make it
the perfect antidote for stress.
It is a nature lover as well as divers and
sea sports enthusiasts play ground.
The impressive coral reefs complement this
subtropical ecosystem, enriched by the
abundance and rare beauty of the tropical
fish. The island is deservedly known as the

The Resort has one main Restaurant, and
every night dinner is announced by the sound
of African drums. Lunch can either be served
by the pool, or a picnic bag can be arranged
to take to the beach with you. The
restaurant offers a buffet or a’ la carte
with sea food being a specialty.
ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES
There are 26 thatched roof chalets stretched
along the beautiful beach and surrounded by
lush tropical gardens. Four types chalets
are available, one honeymoon chalet, eleven
superior, 12 standard and two family
chalets. Welcome drink on arrival.
The honeymoon and superior chalets enjoy a
view of the ocean. Each chalet has either
twin, queen or king sized beds, bathroom
with an outside shower, mosquito nets over
the beds, air-conditioning, tea and coffee
making facilities.
Lodge facilities include an outdoor swimming
pool, satellite TV, games room with pool
table, table tennis and soccer game. DVD and
video room, business centre with computers,
laptop connection and internet access and a
curio shop.
ACTIVITIES
Diving, snorkeling, fly and offshore
fishing, marlin fishing, island hopping
trips, picnics, sunset trips, boat or local
dhow cruises, bird watching and

INHACA ISLAND LODGE |
The Island of Inhaca is located 10 minutes
by plane from Maputo and situated in front
of the beach between bushy colonies of
coconut trees and luxurious tropical
vegetation and is famous for its garden
beaches and warm crystal clear waters.
Tantalize your taste buds with a variety of
fine seafood cuisine and enjoy its unmatched
hospitality.
ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES
This beautiful tropical beach Lodge offers a
total of 40 rooms set in magnificent coconut
palms and exotic gardens. There are two
types of rooms:
20 Standard Rooms + 20 Family Rooms all of
them equipped with twin and queen beds, all
beds with mosquito nets, en suite bathroom
with shower, ceiling fan, telephone,
satellite TV, and tea and coffee making
facilities. Facilities include an outdoor
salt water swimming pool, kids club, games
room for indoor activities like table
tennis, pool table, darts and table games,

ACTIVITIES
Inhaca Lodge offers excellent opportunities
for water sports such as water skiing,
cobra-cat boat, snorkeling, diving,
kayaking, windsurfing, para-sailing, boat

excursions on foot or join excursions to the
lighthouse and the Museum of Marine Biology,
as well as visits by boat to Portuguese
Island, Santa Maria Island and Turtle
