LESEDI CULTURAL VILLAGE |
|
This village is a living monument to
South Africa's rich ethnic heritage.
Located in a bush setting just outside
Johannesburg, the colourful traditions of
Africa's people (the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi,
Xhosa and Zulu) are preserved and practiced.
Enjoy a display of tribal dancing, explore
the African cuisine with a feast of
traditional dishes, and shop at the Ndebele
craft and curio market. Sit around an open
fire. Listen to the sound of drums and
become part of those who keep oral history,
myths and legends alive through
participative storytelling. |
