All travel
arrangements made on behalf of travelers are subject
to the unique terms and conditions and limits of
liability obligatory by the respective airlines,
transport operators,
Hoteliers
and other contracted services providers.
Our
full terms and conditions will be sent to you with
your invoice on request.
Privacy:
Subject to
statutory constraints or compliance with an order of
court, Ambula Safaris & Tours undertakes to deal
with all your information of a personal nature on a
strictly confidential basis.
Payment
and additional charges
Bookings,
save for late bookings, are confirmed on the
condition that a non-refundable deposit, of a
minimum of 25% of the total package price is paid.
You will be advised at the time of booking what
payment is required for your particular
arrangements.
Deposits
need to be received within 48 hours of receipt of
the client's invoice to prevent certain airlines
from cancelling seats.
Some
bookings require full payment at the time of booking
i.e. prior to confirmation.
The full
amount due by the client to Ambula Safaris & Tours
shall be payable not less than eight weeks prior to
the date of departure.
Methods of
payment include, electronic transfers (EFT), credit
cards, cash deposited into one of our bank accounts.
Refunds
Airfares
Refund
policies of the various airlines and establishments
vary greatly. Depending on the airline booked,
cancelled tickets will be presented to the relevant
airline for assessment. Should a refund be
authorized such refund will be made less any
cancellation and administration charges.
As a general
rule the following applies taking into account the
specific airline and establishments policies.
8 weeks or
less prior to travel 25% of the total will be
forfeited
6 weeks or
less prior to travel 50% of the total will be
forfeited
3 weeks or
less prior to travel 100% of the total will be
forfeited
A levy of
10% will be charged on any refunds processed, in
addition refunds to a SWIFT bank account will
attract an additional charge of R200.
Insurance
We strongly
advised that all clients take out adequate insurance
cover such as cancellation due to illness, accident
or injury, personal accident and personal liability,
loss of or damage to baggage, acts of nature and
death. Be advised Ambula Safaris & Tours will not be
held responsible or liable if the client fails to
take adequate insurance.
Passports, Visas and Health
It
is entirely the clients duty to ensure that all
passports & visas are current, valid, obtained on
time and that any vaccinations, inoculations,
prophylactics (e.g. for malaria) and the like, where
required, have been obtained.
