The Zambezi Sun rests on the banks of the
Zambezi River. This three-star hotel offers
an environment that is suitable for
everyone. The hotel is built around a large
central pool which allows you to cool off in
the heat of the sun. The Zambezi Sun has the

SUSSI AND CHUMA LODGE |
The Star of Africa, Sussi Lodge & Chuma
House are named after David Livingstone’s
faithful friends and consists of an
exclusive, upmarket lodge and a spacious two
bedroom villa. Both of which take full
advantage of their enchanting river-bank
setting. This riverbank hideaway just is 10
minutes upstream of the Victoria Falls along
the Zambezi river next to Zambia's
Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park.
Guest accommodation consists of 10 luxury
tree-houses, built into the living canopy of
giant ebony trees lining the bank. Each unit
has a private view of the Zambezi from its
own deck among the branches. The main lodge
building features a spectacular raised
bar/lounge deck, open air dining area,
swimming pool and lawns sweeping down to the
water’s edge.
Resident wildlife, such as hippopotamus and
elephant, is likely to wander through the
Lodge grounds at any time, since in the
National Park they have priority. A wide
choice of activities adds to the attractions
of this elegant, secluded retreat.
Activities that can be booked at an extra
cost include white water rafting, canoeing,
sunset cruises, helicopter and microlight
